For the Arkenstone Winery residence in Napa County, matching Douglas fir was produced for floors, doors, millwork and cabinetry, while exterior balustrades were created from reclaimed redwood from century-old bridge timbers. On the carriage house, the timber-framed, exterior deck structure was constructed form a 40-foot-long, 12” by 16” girder. Reclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon wine tank staves were repurposed for the decking, while railings were custom-milled from antique Western red cedar.
